To the customer who chose to walk out of our Carlton op shop at approximately 12:30pm today with an arm full of clothing and bags, we would appreciate you returning to the shop this week to pay for the items taken please.

If you are struggling, we are pretty gracious and willing to have a conversation to see how we can help you, but taking from your community is not the answer. ❤️‍🩹

Please note the Carlton Thrift Shop will be closed Saturday 15th August.
We are working on onboarding new Volunteers for Saturdays. Thank you for your patience as we understand this is not ideal for those that frequent the shop on a Saturday.

We kindly ask that you place donations in the red bin provided, take them elsewhere or hold until we open on Tuesday please 🙏🏽

Aggressive comments to our staff (whether online and offline) over recent unexpected Saturday closures won’t be tolerated.

High School Age Hang Out

We welcome all youth (12-17 years) to come join us today Thursday 13th August at the Sorell PCYC shed (turn right as you enter Pembroke Park and follow the gravel road around til you see the tall grey shed).

We’ll be there from 3pm-5pm.

Let’s Eat- Potato Gem cups! (ready by 3:30pm)

Hey Community!

This SATURDAY 8th August Michael Larkins - Deputy Mayor of Sorell Council, Shannon Campbell - Labor for Lyons and Craig (Salvos) will be braving the cold weather and going for a swim at Park Beach!

Why? 🏊‍♀️ ♥️
Earlier this year Michael and Shannon smashed their Red Shield Appeal fundraising target (once again) and raised over $2,000 between them! As a result of their efforts, they could drag us (Jess is exempt now 😷) in with them.

We’d LOVE some cheerleaders for these awesome humans so if you’re free at 9am, come on down to Park Beach, Dodges Ferry to cheer them on!

AFTER the swim, we’ll venture up to Park Beach Cafe and Beach Bums to defrost and get a hot choccy/caffeine fix! ☕️
