Every day, people walk through the doors of Orana Support Service looking for a hot meal, a drink, a friendly face, or someone who will simply listen. Some are existing clients, while many are members of our community who have nowhere else to turn.

As a community-minded charity, we are seeing the need for support continue to grow. To ensure we can provide more meals, more connection, and more hope to those doing it tough, we need the help of our community.

We're looking for compassionate volunteers to join our new Community Kitchen, opening soon. Whether you can spare a few hours each week or a little time each month, your support can make a real difference in someone's life.
If you would like to help support the most vulnerable members of our community, we'd love to hear from you.

Come and have a supportive, non-judgemental conversation with one of our caseworkers to see if you may be eligible for a Work and Development Order (WDO).

A WDO may allow you to reduce or clear your fines by completing approved activities, including volunteering with Orana Support Service through programs such as:

The Food Pantry
Meals on the Main
Our Community Kitchen
And many other meaningful community activities.
