Become a member and enjoy borrowing 4 quality toys, and 4 puzzles for 3 weeks! Want a fantastic & cost effective way to introduce toys to your children?

Orana Toy Library is a non profit organisation that provides access to borrowed toys for families. Open during school terms only:
Tuesday 10am - 12pm
Saturday 10am - 12pm

Membership cost is $70 per year. This entitles you to four toys and four puzzles for up to 3 weeks. Members are rostered to volunteer one day a term to assist with the borrowing and returning of toys.

What an incredible morning! 🎉
A huge thank you to everyone who joined us to celebrate 50 years of play at the Orana Toy Library. It was such a joy to see the space full of families, laughter and little ones exploring the toys.

Today was a great success, and that’s thanks to the amazing effort of our committee members and volunteers who put so much heart into making this event happen. We’re so grateful for the time, energy and love you bring to our Toy Library community. 💛

We also want to welcome all our new members who signed up today — we’re thrilled to have you join our Toy Library family, and we can’t wait to see you borrowing and enjoying the collection.

Here’s to the next chapter of play in Dubbo. 🧸✨

A little flashback to our old Toy Library space — the one we had to leave after the 2022 floods.
Thanks to the huge effort of our amazing members and committee, we were able to save so many of these toys, and they’re still being borrowed and loved today. 💛

It’s incredible to look back on how far we’ve come… and even more exciting to celebrate 50 years of play this Saturday at our Inclusive Stay & Play, 30 May, 9–12pm. 🎉

Come be part of the celebration as we honour our history and embrace the next chapter of play in Dubbo.

This National Volunteer Week, we want to celebrate every single person who has ever volunteered or served on the Orana Toy Library committee over the past 50 years. 💛

Our Toy Library has only ever existed because of the people who have given their time, energy and heart — from our founders in 1976 to the many volunteers who have kept us going through moves, floods, rebuilds and countless borrowing days.

As we prepare for our 50th Birthday Stay & Play on 30 May, we’re honouring the generations of volunteers who built this community space and kept the doors open for local families. Your dedication has shaped thousands of moments of joy, learning and play.

Thank you for being part of our story — past, present and future. 💛✨

We’re hosting a free Inclusive Stay & Play morning to celebrate the Orana Toy Library turning 50.
Saturday 30 May • 9–12pm • 151 Fitzroy street Allira Centre

Expect fun activities, face painting, birthday cake, morning tea and discounted memberships.
