Today was the last day of our Animal Studies taster program. 🐶🐈. Students have really enjoyed this course and learnt a lot. As part of the last day we had a BBQ lunch and the students were presented with certificates 📃
It has been great to have you and your lovely animals on campus this term and we hope to see you back again to continue your Animal Care studies.

Our current group of early school leavers are finishing their units towards completing their Year 10 equivalent course at the end of this term. 👩‍🎓
Congratulations to these students for their hard work and dedication. They will now move on to further study or employment.📚
A new Year 10 equivalent course will commence in Semester 2.

Today our Animal Studies students made enrichment toys for pets. They had a lot of great ideas and were very creative. They also had a visit from Eddie who helped to test them out. 🐶

Today Forbes campus held a very successful Reconciliation Week Event.
We were lucky enough to have students from the Forbes High School Aboriginal Group come to give an Acknowledgment to Country in language, speak about what Reconciliation Week means and to bring damper with native wattle seed to share with everyone.
We also had some lovely Dreamtime Tuka slice. Bailey who is a current student at Forbes TAFE and a local Wiradjuri man spoke about what being Aboriginal means to him personally.
There were lovely displays created by students from the SEE and Early School Leaver programs and displays from the Library including books, art slides and prints.
Thank you to everyone who attended and those who helped make this event possible, following the theme of 'All In'.
