Forbes Toy Library Forbes Toy Library The Forbes Toy Library is a fabulous resource available for parents and carers in Forbes and surrounds. Annual membership is $40.

Simply become a member to gain access to a treasure trove of wonderful fun and educational toys that will keep your children engaged and entertained. The beauty of the Toy Library is that you can keep up with the develoment of your child without the expensive outlay... simply borrow toys to suit! Then before your kids can become bored, return the toy and borrow another! The range of toys at the Fo

rbes Toy Library is outstanding! We have toys ranging from the Little Tikes range of push cars, to puzzles, DVD's, dress-up costumes, building blocks, dolls houses, scooters and everything in-between. All toys are kept in great condition and are inspected and cleaned after each borrow. Drop in on Saturday mornings between 9.30 and 11.30* to check it out. We are located in the YAAC (next to the heated pool) and new members always welcome!

Itโ€™s a fun, affordable and sustainable way to keep playtime fresh while giving children the opportunity to explore new interests.โฃโฃโฃ

We love encouraging families to bring their children along to choose their own toys. Itโ€™s a wonderful chance to say โ€œyes!โ€ to their choices (instead of the usual โ€œnot todayโ€ at the toy shop!) and gives them the freedom to discover toys they may never have tried otherwise, without the commitment or cost of buying them.โฃโฃโฃ

We also have some larger toys, including bikes, which families are welcome to try before borrowing.โฃโฃโฃ

A quick reminder that while we have a small breakout area, ๐“๐จ๐ฒ ๐‹๐ข๐›๐ซ๐š๐ซ๐ฒ ๐ข๐ฌ๐งโ€™๐ญ ๐š ๐ฉ๐ฅ๐š๐ฒ๐ ๐ซ๐จ๐ฎ๐ฉ ๐จ๐ซ ๐ฉ๐ฅ๐š๐ฒ ๐œ๐ž๐ง๐ญ๐ซ๐ž. Children must remain under the direct supervision of their parent or guardian at all times. Our sessions are run by a dedicated team of volunteer committee members, and with limited opening hours, we need to keep toys organised so everyone can enjoy borrowing them.โฃโฃโฃ

It was a pleasure to welcome the team from Evolution Mining Northparkes Operations to the Forbes Toy Library this week and show them some of the fantastic new toys weโ€™ve been able to purchase thanks to their generous support.

As a volunteer-run organisation, community support like this make a real difference. Their contribution helps us continue providing high-quality, sustainable and engaging toys that encourage learning, creativity and development for local children.
