WEDDIN SHIRE - 2026 ANZAC DAY PROGRAM

Grenfell:
Hosted by the Grenfell RSL Sub Branch
5:00-5:45am Gunfire Breakfast - Criterion Hotel, Main St Grenfell.
5:45am Dawn Service - Grenfell Memorial Park, Australian Army Cadet Catafalque Party, student presentations from the Grenfell Schools, Commemorative Song to be performed by Belinda Day, Australian National Anthem performed live, coffee and tea available. Members of the Public may bring their own seating or picnic rugs.
7:00am Wet Breakfast - Criterion Hotel, Main St Grenfell.
8:00am Pilgrimage to Grenfell Cemetery, pay respects to departed veterans. Members of the public welcome to attend.
10.30am Assemble for march - Roadway near Criterion Hotel, Main St Grenfell.
10:45am March proceeds - to Cenotaph via Main St, led by rider less horse, Grenfell Car Club vehicles transporting veterans, Australian Army Cadet Colour Party, veterans, past veterans family members, First Responders, Australian Army Cadets, Grenfell Schools, Grenfell Pony Club, Sporting and Local Organisations.
11:00am Commemorative Service - Grenfell Memorial Park, Australian Army Cadet Catafalque Party, student presentations from the Grenfell Schools, Commemorative Song to be performed by Belinda Day, wreath laying ceremony (public invited to lay a wreath), Australian, New Zealand and British National Anthems sung live. Coffee and tea available. Members of the Public may bring their own seating or picnic rug.
12:00am Discounted roast of the day lunch for veterans, at the Grenfell Bowling Club.
2:00pm-Late Two Up School - Criterion Hotel, Main St Grenfell.

2:00pm Commemorative Service - Conducted at Bimbi's War Memorial, service conducted by The Bimbi Progress Association, Australian Army Cadet's Catafalque Party and Flag Party and wreath laying ceremony (public invited to lay a wreath).
