🏉💙 FOOTY COLOURS DAY AT GPS! 💙🏉

Today we’re getting behind Footy Colours Day and showing our support for kids fighting cancer. 💛

Footy Colours Day is a national fundraising initiative by the Fight Cancer Foundation, bringing communities together to proudly wear their team colours and raise much needed funds to help ensure kids don’t have to fight cancer alone. 💛

A huge thank you to our GPS community for getting behind this wonderful cause! 🙌

What a school community we have! 💗

A very big thank you to Mad D’Ombrain for organising our wonderful Father’s Day Stall, and to all the beautiful women who showed up to lend a hand and make the day so special.

We are so lucky to have such an amazing community of families and volunteers who are always willing to pitch in and support our school. 💕

Everyone Can Skip! 🌟

Mrs Carpenter with cutting assistance from Mr Gorman have been busy working on a special skipping aid to support our students as they develop their skipping skills. 🪢💪

Our new aid will provide students with the opportunity to learn, practise and build confidence at their own pace, making skipping more accessible and inclusive for everyone.

The children will be able to use the aid each morning and during PE lessons, giving them plenty of opportunities to practise their coordination, movement and physical skills while having fun.

A wonderful example of our school community working together to ensure every child can participate, have a go and experience success. 💙

Year 6 Girls were keen to test the skipping aid once Mrs Carpenter completed building the aid today.
