Volunteer Week πŸŽ‰πŸ˜

At the library we are lucky to have a dedicated group of volunteers, who help us keep books on the shelf and to run our programmes.

Thank you to Judy, who is responsible for labelling and covering our books.
Thank you Di, who shelves our books.
Thank you to Louise, who delivers books to our housebound clients each fortnight.

You can volunteer at the library too! 😁😁
If you have each week or fortnight, and want to contribute to our library, call us on (02) 6740 2190.

Please note: all volunteers will need a valid Working with Children Check and to complete a workplace induction before they commence.

🫟 Spotlight: PRODUCTIVE PAPER

If paper is your preferred medium for creativity, the Hobbies & Interests section has books that will spark your next project. The problem will be narrowing down your choices!

Do you have old books at home? Try your hand at folded book art.
Enjoy bright and beautiful flowers, but find they wilt too soon? Paper flowers will stay perky and bright for months.
Looking for practical items to make that are both creative and useful? Japanese paper craft is the answer.
We also have books on card-making, paper embroidery, origami and making paper planes.
