Your call will be logged by our operations centre who will give you a reference number. Your request will then be forward onto the nearest SES unit for action.

Over the last few days we’ve had 2 calls for trees blocking roads, one on Wednesday afternoon, this was attended and cleared with the help of a firey on his way home and again Friday afternoon to clear a substantial size tree blocking traffic, this one took a bit more work. We had wantabadgery RFS helping with traffic control and council on site who end up contracting machinery to assist with the removal.
On Saturday night we were called to assist the VRA and partner emergency services with an RCR
Thanks to all who assisted us with the tree jobs and more importantly all the emergency services that were involved in Saturday nights road crash.

Last night 3 members attended an award ceremony, these members were awarded the NSW SES commissioner’s unit citation for the cootamundra flash flood in 22 along with another 10 members from neighbouring units
There was also a range of awards presented including long service awards! One of the long service awards was presented to one of our own members for 25 year’s service to the NSW SES
Well done to all involved, we don’t volunteer for the accolades but it is nice to be thanked for the tireless efforts of all our members.
