🏊‍♀️🌟 Congratulations Annie & Molly! 🌟🏊‍♀️

Everyone at VRASC would like to congratulate Annie and Molly Hooper on their selection in the School Sport SA 12 Years & Under Swimming Team to represent South Australia at the School Sport Australia National Swimming Championships.

The championships will be held at the Melbourne Sports & Aquatic Centre (MSAC) in Albert Park, Victoria, from 29 November to 3 December 2026, bringing together the best young school-aged swimmers from across Australia.

Selection in a South Australian state team is a fantastic achievement and reflects the hard work, dedication and commitment Annie and Molly have shown both at training and in competition. To have two swimmers from the one family earn the opportunity to represent their state on the national stage is something truly special.

We wish Annie and Molly every success as they prepare for the championships and look forward to cheering them on as they compete against Australia's best young swimmers.

🌟 National Volunteers Week 🌟

This week, VRASC proudly celebrates and thanks the incredible volunteers who help make our club what it is.

From our coaches, officials, committee members, team managers, canteen helpers, timekeepers, BBQ crews, fundraising supporters and everyone in between — thank you. Your time, energy and dedication create opportunities for our swimmers to learn, compete, grow and enjoy the sport we all love.

Behind every training session, race meet and club event is a team of volunteers giving up their own time to support others. Your contribution does not go unnoticed, and our club simply could not operate without you.

To all of our volunteers — past and present — thank you for being part of the VRASC community and for helping create such a positive and supportive environment for our swimmers and families. 💙🏊‍♂️🏊‍♀️

Huge congratulations to all our Renmark swimmers on their amazing achievements at the 2026 Short Course Country Champs in Mount Barker! 🏊‍♀️🎉
What a weekend it was — fast swims, big PBs, and plenty of proud moments in and out of the pool. Even better was teaming up with our friends from Loxton Swimming Club and Berri Swimming Club to race as the Riverland 💙💛 There’s nothing like coming together, cheering each other on, and showing what our region can do!
So much fun, so much team spirit, and so many memories made. Bring on the next one!

Good luck to Ruby, Max, Louis, Marlon, Harper & Alex all competing in Mt Barker this weekend!!

Tomorrow, the 2026 Country Short Course Championships get underway at Summit Aquatic & Leisure in Mount Barker — the first dedicated country short course championship in two decades, and the first major event at the new venue.

Huge congratulations to all our VRASC swimmers on an incredible 2025/26 season! From PBs to podium finishes, it’s been fantastic to watch every swimmer improve, step up, and represent the club with pride.

A special shoutout to all of our medal and trophy winners – your hard work, consistency, and commitment throughout the season have truly paid off. You’ve set a great example for the whole team.

To our parents, thank you for the countless hours spent at the pool, the travel, and constant support – we simply couldn’t do it without you. And to our committee members and volunteers – timekeepers, officials, canteen helpers and everyone behind the scenes – thank you for the hours you put in to make everything run so smoothly.

This club is built on community, and it’s been another season to be proud of. Bring on next year! 💙🏊‍♂️

Huge congratulations to Harper, Sophie and Max for representing our club at the SA Age Championships over the weekend! 🏊‍♂️💙

Harper had an outstanding meet, making 2 finals from his 5 swims!

Max also had a brilliant weekend in the pool, swimming 4 personal best times!

Sophie had a strong meet as well and came agonisingly close to a PB in the 50m Butterfly!

We’re incredibly proud of the effort, determination and sportsmanship all three swimmers showed across the weekend. Representing VRASC at a championship meet like this is a fantastic achievement. Well done! 👏💙

Renmark Open 2026 – That’s a Wrap! 🏊‍♂️

What an incredible weekend of racing at the Renmark Open!

A huge congratulations to each and every swimmer who hit the water across the two days. Your effort, sportsmanship and determination were fantastic to watch, and you should all be very proud of yourselves 👏

To our amazing team of referees, timekeepers, officials and volunteers – thank you. These carnivals simply don’t happen without you, and we are so grateful for the time and energy you gave across the weekend.

As a small club of just 30 swimmers, hosting an event like this each year is a massive undertaking. It truly takes a whole community, and to everyone who helped in any way – whether it was setting up, packing down, working in the canteen, marshalling, cooking, timing, officiating or supporting behind the scenes – our club sincerely thanks you. Your contribution, big or small, made a huge difference.

We’re proud to host this meet and even prouder of the spirit that makes it possible.

Day 1 of the Renmark Open is done and dusted! ✅

A huge thank you to everyone who helped make today such a success — from our officials and volunteers, to the canteen crew, timekeepers, set-up legends and of course our swimmers. We couldn’t do it without you all.
