Meet Your Librarian Series! 📚✨
Find out a bit more about the friendly faces here at Singleton Library. We've also got Librarian curated book displays, if you're looking for reading inspiration.

Kirri | Library Assistant
I have a background in teaching and a passion for learning and helping others. I enjoy creating welcoming environments where people feel supported and encouraged to explore new ideas. I value curiosity, lifelong learning, and meaningful connections.

Outside of work, I’m happily married and spend much of my free time keeping up with my mischievous Dachshund, Tank, who ensures life is never boring, working in my veggie patch to grow nutritious and delicious food and spending time with my eight nephews. I believe in finding a balance between professional growth and the simple joys of everyday life.

What I read | My reading tastes are wonderfully varied. I love non-fiction books on wellbeing and gardening, but when it’s time to escape into fiction, I’m drawn to fantasy and adventure. Whether it’s the magic of Harry Potter or the epic world of The Lord of the Rings, I always enjoy a story that sparks the imagination.

Through this special experience, our little scientists will discover why water safety is so important and learn simple, age-appropriate strategies to help keep themselves and others safe.

Finally, a big shout out to our Librarians for doing so many performances, with just as much energy and enthusiasm as the last 🙌, time to hang up the onesies and have a rest till next year!
