📢 Community Update for Coolamon residents

The mobile filtration truck is heading your way! 💧

This innovative technology uses a filtration system mounted on a truck to clean water supply mains without any loss of water. The unit operates year-round to help maintain a safe and reliable water supply for the community.

🚛 Where & When
The mobile filtration truck will be operating in the township of Coolamon from 1 September 2026 for approximately 6-8 weeks.

⏰ What to Expect
Works will generally take place between 7:00am and 3:00pm on weekdays. While every precaution will be taken to minimise impacts, some customers may experience temporary water discolouration during these times.

❗️ EMERGENCY WORKS – JUNEE

We are currently attending to a burst main on Broadway Street Junee, which will also affect customers on Junction Street, Egan Street and Victoria Street, Junee.

Repairs are expected to take approximately 2-3 hours. During this time, customers around the area may experience low water pressure or no water supply.

Once your water is restored:
💧 Run the tap closest to your water meter for 2–3 minutes, or until the water runs clear.
👕 Please avoid washing clothes until the water is running clear.

We appreciate your patience and understanding while these emergency repairs are completed.

We're often grateful for community members who help alert us to bursts across our scheme 💧👏

A big thank you to a Temora resident who reported a burst on Junee Road, Temora, yesterday. Our Distribution Team responded promptly and got straight to work repairing the damaged pipeline. To complete the repair safely, water supply was temporarily shut off to some customers in the area.

The crew worked efficiently to repair the burst and restore water services as quickly as possible.

We appreciate our community's assistance in reporting issues and helping us maintain a reliable water network 🥰
