Applications for the new purchasing card are still open, apply by 18th of May to be included in the first batch of card delivery.

All Beneficiaries should now have received an email with full details, including how to apply, card options, and key dates.

The Purchasing card is optional and can be used for both your historic underpayment distribution and your annual distributions for allowed programs only. You can choose either a digital card or a physical card, depending on what best suits you.

If you want to use your Purchasing Card for your historic underpayment distributions, you need to complete your Purchasing Card application form FIRST, along with the historic underpayment application form.

A message from Justin Dhu, Executive Officer Gumala Aboriginal Corporation
On behalf of GAC, I extend our deepest condolences on the passing of Mr S. Parker, a respected Banjima Elder.
Our thoughts, prayers and love go out to the family, the Banjima people, and all who were close to them.
As a mark of respect, the Perth and Tom Price offices and phone lines will be closed today, and will reopen on the 12th of May.

Gumala Trust (GIPL) is rolling out a new, optional Purchasing Card for Gumala Beneficiaries and Members.
Before applications open, we want to make sure you feel informed and confident about what’s coming.

What you need to know:
βœ… Optional - your choice
βœ… Use it for health, education, wellbeing and cultural needs
βœ… Choose digital (phone) or physical card
βœ… Funds will start being loaded from 1 July 2026

Hardship Payment Update

GAC is pleased to announce that the GAC and GIPL Boards have approved a $4,000 hardship payment for eligible Members and Beneficiaries, funded through the Historic Underpayment Program and administered by GAC.

This payment recognises the increasing cost of living and financial pressures currently being experienced by many Members.
