Given that today is a day to thank 1st responders, I would like to take this opportunity to express my sincere gratitude to all the Uranquinty RFB volunteers. Not only do I appreciate the volunteers who respond to a diverse range of incidents to safeguard our exceptional community, but also their families who support their decision to serve.
Our volunteers hail from various backgrounds and professions, yet each one has joined without expectation of financial reward, driven solely by a desire to contribute to the community.
They have all committed to undergoing rigorous training to acquire the necessary skills, attending incidents at all hours, and providing assistance whenever required.
In the near future, the majority of our crew will undertake significant training and assume additional responsibilities, enhancing our capacity to deliver a more effective and capable service that will greatly benefit our village - a substantial undertaking for our 1st responders.
So, to all the crew and their families, I extend my heartfelt thanks.
