Now is a good time to get your application together.
Before submitting, make sure you have your project details, quotes and supporting information ready.
Applicants may need to provide:
✔️ Two quotes, where applicable
✔️ Photographs of the existing building or structure
✔️ Plans, sketches or details of the proposed works
✔️ Details of materials and colours
✔️ Historical information about the property
Remember, you must discuss your project with Council's Planning Officer before submitting your application.

🐾 CAN YOU HELP US FIND THEIR OWNERS?

Two animals were brought to the Bland Shire Animal Shelter over the weekend and we’re hoping someone recognises them.

🐶 Female dog – brought into the vet over the weekend and collected by one of our Rangers from there.

🐱 Female cat – found around Boundary Street, West Wyalong, on Saturday.

Unfortunately, neither animal is microchipped or desexed, making it difficult to locate their owners.

If you recognise either of these animals, please contact Bland Shire Council on 6972 2266.

The Farming Stronger workshop is a practical day focused on managing stress, maintaining energy and navigating the challenges of tough seasons.

Topics include:

✔️ Improving farm efficiency and productivity
✔️ Managing stress
✔️ Building farm resilience and business longevity
✔️ Leading and retaining a great team
✔️ Creating a positive farm culture
✔️ Maintaining energy for demanding work
