🏃‍♀️🏃‍♂️ Congratulations to our students who proudly represented YNPS at the PSSA Riverina Cross Country Championships in Gundagai today!

Our runners demonstrated determination and excellent sportsmanship throughout the day, with every student finishing their race strongly and representing our school with pride. 🌟

A special shoutout to Mia, who has successfully qualified for the State Championships! 🎉🏅 This is an outstanding achievement and a testament to Mia’s hard work and dedication.

Today, our 5/6B students visited the K–2 classrooms to support their buddies during their literacy block.

It was wonderful to see our senior students demonstrating leadership, patience and encouragement as they worked alongside their younger peers.

K-2 enjoyed learning with their older buddies, while our 5/6B students were fantastic role models, helping to build confidence and build a love of learning. 📚✨

🤸‍♀️🌟 What an incredible achievement! 🌟🤸‍♂️

Our YNPS Aerobics Team travelled to Sydney over the weekend and delivered an outstanding performance on the competition floor. Their hard work, dedication, and commitment were on full display, and we are thrilled to announce that they have successfully qualified for the State Finals, to be held at the end of June. 🤸‍♀️🏅

This is a fantastic accomplishment and a testament to the countless hours of training, teamwork, and perseverance shown by our students and coaches. We are incredibly proud of the way they represented our school and community. 🤸‍♂️✨

Congratulations to all team members on this well-deserved success. We wish them the very best as they continue preparing for the State Finals. We know they will make YNPS proud once again!

What a fantastic day at our District Athletics Carnival! 🏃‍♀️🏃‍♂️

Our students represented YNPS with pride and displayed wonderful sportsmanship, determination and encouragement throughout the day. We are so proud of the way they participated, challenged themselves and supported one another across all events.

📚✨ Today at YNPS we participated in National Simultaneous Storytime, the annual event that celebrates the joy of reading and promotes literacy across the country.

Each year, a specially chosen picture book by an Australian author and illustrator is read simultaneously in libraries, schools, early learning centres and homes across Australia.

This year’s featured book was 'Luna Roo' by Adam Jacks and Adrian Beck, beautifully illustrated by Heath McKenzie. 🦘📖

Our students loved joining in and sharing this special reading experience together. What a wonderful way to inspire imagination and build a love of reading! 💛
