Mr. Gaurav Ray, Head of Office of the United Nations Resident Coordinator’s Office in Bhutan (UNRC), accompanied by Ms. Tshering Palden, Executive Associate paid a courtesy call on Ms. Sucheta Chatterjee, Consul General of India in Phuentsholing.
During the meeting, the two sides exchanged views on ongoing developmental initiatives and discussed opportunities for strengthening cooperation in areas of mutual interest. The discussions highlighted the importance of partnership, regional collaboration, and people-centric development in advancing shared goals for sustainable growth and well-being.
As a gesture of goodwill and mutual respect, Mr. Gaurav Ray presented a traditional Khadar to the Consul General.
The Consul General and the UN delegation reaffirmed their commitment to continued engagement and cooperation in support of Bhutan’s development aspirations and the enduring spirit of collaboration among development partners in the region.
