Banff Public Library Banff Public Library is a member of the Marigold Library System & The Regional Automation Consortium

Library membership is free for all residents of the town of Banff and Improvement District No. 9 (ID9) - the area outside of the town of Banff but within Banff National Park, including Lake Louise and Saskatchewan River Crossing. Non-residents may obtain a membership for a non-refundable annual fee of $70.00. Your library card allows you to borrow physical materials and access online resources. A

library card is not required to attend library programs or to use the public computers, Wi-Fi, or any materials within the library. Printing, copying, and scanning services are also available. Black and white printing costs $0.25/page, colour printing costs $0.50/page, and scanning is free. Twenty-five library items may be borrowed at a time, including books, audiobooks, magazines, DVDs, and CDs. All loan periods are set to 3 weeks with the exception of holiday-themed DVDs which can be borrowed for 7 days.

📚If you stop by the Library, you'll see our display about Bill 28, across from the front desk. Read about what Bill 28 is, how you can help, and what the 4 R's of censorship are (and where Bill 28 falls).

📚On the display, you can find Banff Public Library Board Chair Kameko Higa's letter to the Premier and Minister of Municipal Affairs, books to check out, and free postcards and stickers (designed in house) to share! As a sidenote, you can now read Kameko's Letter to the Editor on the RMO's website (dated May 16).

🐉Attention Dragon Readers! Join us next week on June 5th for the Reading Dragons Finale Bonanza, and celebrate all your amazing reading progress and dragons🐉

🐲From 3 - 5PM, come by the Banff Public Library Program Room to play games, do crafts, and collect prizes celebrating all the reading you've completed. You've done amazing work! This is a drop-in event, so come by whenever you can.

📚IMPORTANT: in order to participate in the Reading Dragons Prize Draw, please come to the Library front desk with your Reading Tracker so we can tally your entries. We will accept entries UP TO AND INCLUDING MONDAY, JUNE 1ST! The prize draw will occur on Friday, June 5th.

🐲For Dragon Readers who can't make the Finale Bonanza, not to worry! So long as we have your draw prize entries, you will be entered into the draw and we will contact you if you win.
