Our Simcoe County CAPC CPNP - MotherCare & Next Step programs have launched their 2022 calendar and there are a host of exciting activities and events coming your way, including Pajama Story Time! This evening the Team will be reading Jan Brett's winter classic, The Mitten. When Nicki drops his white mitten in the snow, he goes on without realizing that it is missing. One by one, woodland animals find it and crawl in; first, a curious mole, then a rabbit, a badger and others, each one larger than the last. If you would like to join in the fun for this live reading on Zoom at 6:30 PM, be sure to send the CAPC Team a direct message on their page to register.

December 3rd marks International Day of People With Disabilities, and for this year’s celebrations, the 2021 theme ‘Fighting for rights in the post-COVID era’ will be recognized. Catulpa Community Support Services, together with others around the world are celebrating the opportunities and overcoming of barriers for people who live with disabilities, in the context of life during a global pandemic. Please show your support this year by spreading awareness of the theme ‘Fighting for rights in the post-COVID era’ and celebrating the achievements of people with disabilities in your community and right around the world. In a time when many are socially distancing to protect their health, being able to show support on social media and digital spaces is a great way to celebrate IDPWD 2021 while keeping each other safe.
