BMC was happy to host the Employment Ontario Peel Region Social Assistance Forum on May 7th alongside WCG Services and other community organizations! 🤝

The discussion highlighted the importance of collaboration across the Employment Ontario network in partnership with the Income and Support Services at the Region of Peel, sharing proactive initiatives, best practices, challenges, and resources all aimed at strengthening how we support clients and respond to complex needs in the community.

Thank you to Salima Tejani and Debra Forrester for facilitating such a meaningful and engaging discussion, and thank you to all community partner site leaders who attended. This is what strong partnership between Service Providers and Ontario Works partners look like, working together toward the same goal of better supporting our clients. 👏

Today, BMC was proud to attend the grand opening celebration of the newly renovated Brampton South Fletcher’s Library.

Our Library Settlement Counsellor, alongside members of our Leadership team, Brampton Mayor Patrick Brown and CEO of Brampton Libraries Todd Kyle joined community partners and residents in celebrating this important investment in community space and accessibility.

Through our ongoing Library Settlement Partnership funded by Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada / Immigration, Réfugiés et Citoyenneté Canada with Brampton Library - South Fletchers Branch, BMC looks forward to continuing to support clients and community members through settlement services, resources, and programming at this newly renovated location.
