Learn all about BPL's makerspace, the FabLab, at our open house next weekend! You'll see what kinds of cool tech we have available, learn what the machines can do and have all your makerspace questions answered, from 3D printing to laser engraving.

The open house is Saturday, September 5th from 11 am to 12 pm. See you there!

Millions of children discovered the joy of reading thanks to Dolly Parton and her Imagination Library. As the world grieves her passing, we also celebrate and honour her legacy, not only her contributions to country music, but also her lifetime of advocacy and dedication to children's literacy.

In her own words, "you can never get enough books into the hands of enough children."

It's that time of year... start the school year off right with a custom pencil case!

Pencil cases and loads of art supplies will be provided, so your child can head to school this fall with a pencil case expressing their unique personality and interests.

Have a stack of old greeting cards laying around? We can use them! Donate used cards you no longer want and we'll give them a new life, with our volunteer making them into bookmarks to be distributed at our checkout desk.

STEM Explorers with BGC South East is cancelled today due to staffing constraints. The program will resume as normal next week on both Tuesday and Thursday afternoons from 1 to 2pm. Sorry for the inconvenience and late notice!
