Highwood Outdoor Pool

Highwood Outdoor Pool HOP is a seasonal outdoor pool located in the heart of the NW community of Highwood. If this becomes the case, we will issue a refund.

We are open seasonally; Fathers Day weekend Saturday in June to September Labour Day Monday. Public / Lane Swim times will proceed through rain or cooler temperatures, but not through unsafe weather. If a swim time must be cancelled due to unsafe weather, the Lifeguard staff will make the call just before the swim time starts before patrons enter the facility. her changes quickly and we will do our best to get your swims in. If patrons have started their Public / Lane swim time, but must evacuate the pool due to unsafe weather it is not our policy to offer a transfer or refund. All children age 7 and under must be in arms reach of a responsible person age 14+ at all times when in the facility.

July 24th
Due to continued very poor air quality the pool will be CLOSED for the rest of the day.

Public and Lane Swim patrons will automatically be credited for their missed time slots to their Amelia accounts.

Staff are currently working to complete lesson reports.
Morning reports will be available by 1:00pm
Evening Lesson reports will be available at 8:00pm
DayCamp reports will be available at 4:00pm

Due to the current very poor air quality conditions July 24th, the pool will be closed for morning lessons. All lesson reports will be made using the previously completed classes. We will assess the weather later in the day about Evening Lessons and will contact families by email or phone by 5:15pm if they will not proceed.

We will reassess the weather moving into afternoon Public Swim times as well as Evening 7:30pm Public Swim and Lane Swim. If swimming cannot proceed due to continued very poor air quality, a credit will automatically be applied to your Amelia account for the missed swim.

DayCamps will proceed indoors.
