1A was training for real life scenarios this week. They replicated a structure fire simulation in our training prop at HQ. 📍

They forced doors, advanced hoses, raised ladders and coordinated ventilation efforts with a smoke prop. 🚨

Our crews are prepared to answer the call. 🔥🪓

The Rolling Barrage will be making their way through the city today!

This organization is riding coast to coast to raise awareness and funds for Veterans and First Responder PTSD programs and charities.

We will be saluting them along the 401 between 15:00 and 15:30.

Come on out, wave, honk and show support!

The Rolling Barrage is a yearly coast to coast motorcycle ride across Canada. We create awareness & raise funds that assist other Non Profits and Charities with their efforts in mental health for Veterans and the First Responder community.

Our members are dedicated to serving the people of our community. Whether they are on duty, off duty or retired, we are there to answer the call. 🚒

Recently, we had a retired member notice an unconscious person in our community. They did the right thing by checking on the individual, calling 9-1-1 and utilizing their CPR skills to assist the individual in need while waiting for first responders to arrive. 🚑

Pride, honour, and tradition runs deep within our members yesterday, today and tomorrow. The job follows us wherever we go. ❤️

📍Our team responded to a structure fire on Tuesday morning. Crews arrived to smoke and flames visible from an outside second storey balcony. Thanks to their quick arrival and deployment, they were able to apply water immediately from the ground, preventing the fire to grow, and protecting nearby exposures. 🚒

11 firefighters from all three stations responded. A back up crew of four personnel were called in off duty to provide coverage to the city. Our prevention team was on site to investigate.💦
