We would like to thank our Dorval community for a very successful Terry Fox Event. Our monetary goal was surpassed by 64%! An extra special thank you to the volunteers for keeping the students safe throughout the route. As well as a thank you to Home and School for providing the apples!

Another day, another adventure...today, many of our grade 5 & 6 students participated to a soccer playday organized by GMAA (Greater Montreal Athletic Association) at Royal Vale School.
As always, our students demonstrated good sportsmanship, a positive attitude, and mutual encouragement.
We are all so proud of them! A HUGE thank you to Ms. Bergeron and Ms. Gaby who planned this great opportunity for the students. Thank you to our cycle 3 teachers and parent volunteers who also made it possible. La vie est belle à DES!

Today, DES came together to recognize Orange Shirt Day. We learned about "Why do we wear orange today?", we had a Land Acknowledgement and the Thanksgiving Address. We are very proud of our students who presented during the assembly! We are also very proud of ALL the students who were excellent listeners and who showed a lot of respect.
Following the assembly, we had a walk around the school to honour the indigenous communities.
We want to thank all the parent-volunteers, our DES staff and the Dorval Public Security who made sure that everyone was safe. 🧡
Every child matters! 🧡

DES is proud to come together for the annual Terry Fox Run taking place on Wednesday, October 7th! Students and staff will be lacing up, getting active, and helping carry Terry’s dream forward by raising funds for cancer research.
