The Better at Home program is looking for a Housekeeper to help support seniors in our community and assist them in remaining independent at home.

This contractor position involves providing light housekeeping services such as:
Dusting
Floor cleaning and vacuuming
Bed making
Washroom cleaning
Dishwashing
Kitchen and appliance cleaning

What does a Family Support Worker do?

Sometimes life feels overwhelming, and no one has to navigate it alone.

Family Support Workers at Interior Community Services walk alongside individuals and families by providing practical support, encouragement, and connections to resources that can make everyday life a little easier.

Support may include:
🌱 Parenting support
💙 Wellness and self-care
🏡 Life skills such as budgeting, meal planning, organization, and accessing community resources
🗣️ Communication and healthy relationships
🎯 Goal setting and building routines
🤝 Advocacy and connecting to services

The role of a Family Support Worker is not to judge or tell people what to do. It is to provide support, build on strengths, and work together toward the goals that matter most to each individual and family.
