Our Family Services program provides crisis intervention, counselling, mediation, case conferencing and day-to-day support to youth and adults to decrease the risk of violence, abuse, exploitation, homelessness, mental health crisis, and hospitalization.

Our Family Services include:
- Child, Youth and Parenting (CYP) Program
- Family Court Support Services (FCSS)
- Community Mental Health Support Services - Housing and Support Peel (HASP)
- ACES Program for Women (Advocacy, Counselling, Empowerment and Safety)
- SAATH Program

As part of the NICP project led by Peel Newcomer Strategy Group (PNSG), Indus Community Services organized the Grow, Glow & Belong event on May 15, 2026, at Mount Pleasant Library to connect community members and support a sense of belonging. The event welcomed 93 attendees, including seniors, families, and children, for a day focused on wellness, connection, and community engagement. 👨‍👩‍👦 👨‍👩‍👧‍👦

Activities included Chair Yoga, pot planting, and an interactive teamwork exercise facilitated by a wellness facilitator, encouraging participants to connect and build relationships. 🪴🧘‍♀️

Children engaged in creative activities, adding to the lively and inclusive atmosphere. Community resources and information from partner organizations were shared, and many participants expressed interest in future events and programs. 🎨

Indus Community Services is excited to partner with the Centre for Innovation in Health and Wellness (CIHW) at Humber Polytechnic on a research project titled, “The Impact of Precarious Employment on International Students’ Mental Health and Well-Being.”

As part of our research study, we will be hosting two 90-minute focus group discussions with college international students in Peel. One session will be held at our Gillingham Drive location in Brampton and the other at the main office in Mississauga on Hurontario Street.

🚨 A $25 gift card will be provided to each student for their participation
