This Eid, we’re honoured to host our first Sensory Friendly Eid Salah 🤍

For many families of children with disabilities, community gatherings can feel overwhelming. That is why we created a space with quiet areas, accessibility supports, sensory materials, and helping hands for anyone who needs them.

Such a fun and creative session at Abdul’s Canva workshop 🎨✨

As part of our Community Heroes programming, Abdul guided participants through his art process step by step, starting with drawing a donut by hand on paper and then showing how he uses Canva tools for digital illustration so everyone could create their own final design.

It was so special to see everyone learn, create, and build confidence through art in such a fun and accessible way.

A big thank you to Canada Service Corps for funding workshops like this and supporting opportunities for youth to learn, create, and grow.

What a night at Ifsaan’s Community Board Game Night 🎲✨

Led by one of our Community Heroes youth, the evening brought people together for games, snacks, laughter, and connection. It was a simple but meaningful reminder that community can be built around a table, one game at a time.

A huge thank you to everyone who came out and made the night so special.

This event was made possible through SMILE’s Community Heroes program, supported by funding from Canada Service Corps. 💛

Care becomes more powerful when it is rooted in community.
We’re grateful for this partnership and what it means for families who are navigating so much at once. New systems, new challenges, and the need for support that feels accessible, responsive, and compassionate.
Thank you, NASIMCO, for helping make that care possible. đź’š
