Today at the library, we have Spanish Storytime with Aimée Rodriguez

"Aimée Rodriguez is a Dominican rhythm-based dance instructor, mama, postpartum doula, community herbalist turned farmer, language keeper, wellness advocate, and community builder. She dedicates herself to quality time with her son, family, and caring for her relatives when she isn't immersed in her musically vibrant community offerings."

Next Friday, October 16th at 11am is our monthly Indigenous Story Time. Eartha Linnell will be reading children's books written and illustrated by Indigenous writers and artists. Come by with your kiddos to learn about the traditions and cultures of First Nations, Metis and Inuit communities on Turtle Island! Stay after for some fun crafting with Daphne!

The FabLab in Salt Spring Island Public Library is a FREE-to-use makers space with 3d Printers, Laser cutter and more!

Many island kids know the FabLab is a place to learn, have fun and make cool items.

But, did you know that half the FabLab users are adults?

They are making cool things like home decor items, tools for pottery, custom made repair parts, items for just about every hobby, woodworking guides, assistive devices to support disabilities and much more!
