Many in our community will remember Benny Birch, the beloved mascot who brought smiles, laughter, and countless memories to the Benny Birch Carnival over the years.

While Benny has retired from his carnival duties, we're happy to report that he's enjoying retirement at St. Joseph's Heritage. These days, you'll find him relaxing in the garden, catching up with friends, and enjoying a good book - proof that retirement can be pretty wonderful. 🌳📖

As we celebrate Benny's birthday during National Seniors Month, we're also celebrating the seniors who make our St. Joseph's homes and communities so special. Their stories, friendships, wisdom, and resilience enrich all of our lives every day.

Last Wednesday, Janine Black from St. Joseph's Care Group and Gail Brescia from St. Joseph's Foundation had the pleasure of joining the Fort William Rotary for their dinner meeting.

We were delighted to provide an update on the important programs and services offered by St. Joseph's Care Group and to share how these services continue to make a difference in the lives of people throughout our community.

Most importantly, we expressed our sincere gratitude to the Fort William Rotary Club for their outstanding support through their Fort William Rotary House Lottery. Their generosity has helped fund vital new equipment at St. Joseph's Hospital, enhancing patient care and supporting healthcare teams in delivering the best possible outcomes.
