Last week, we proudly celebrated Child and Youth Worker Week by recognizing and appreciating the incredible work our staff do each and every day.

Our Child and Youth Workers continuously go above and beyond to support, guide, encourage, and advocate for the youth we serve. Their compassion, patience, dedication, and commitment make a lasting impact in the lives of young people and families within our community.

Whether it’s through providing support during difficult moments, creating meaningful connections, planning engaging activities, or simply being a safe and trusted person to talk to, their work does not go unnoticed.

Thank you to all of our amazing staff for the care, heart, and positivity you bring to your roles every day. We are incredibly grateful for everything you do!

🍪 We’re proud to support Smile Cookie Day and an amazing cause close to our hearts! We’re especially delighted that proceeds are going to Triple PLAY Kenora who have generously helped the youth in our organization by donating sports equipment and creating more opportunities for them to play, grow, and thrive.

Be sure to grab a Smile Cookie today and support a cause that truly makes a difference in our community! 💙

Today we celebrate Administrative Professionals Day, and we truly couldn’t let it pass without recognizing the incredible people who keep everything running behind the scenes.

Chasity, Taylor, Yvonne, and Kaija, thank you for being the steady, reliable foundation we all depend on. You are the first to lend a helping hand, the ones who keep us organized when things get busy, and the calm in the middle of chaos. Your work often happens quietly, but its impact is felt in every success, every smooth day, and every problem solved before anyone else even notices.

Your dedication, patience, and attention to detail never go unnoticed. You are the glue that holds everything together, and we are so grateful for all that you do each and every day.

Today, and every day, we appreciate you more than words can say. 💙

Today we wore pink in support of Pink Shirt Day 💗

Pink Shirt Day is a reminder that kindness isn’t just something we talk about, it’s something we practice. It started as a small act of standing up against bullying, and it continues to grow as a movement rooted in empathy, inclusion, and courage.

But it doesn’t stop with wearing pink.

From today, we can:
✨ Speak up when we see bullying or exclusion
✨ Create safe spaces for open conversations
✨ Teach and model kindness for our children and youth
✨ Check in on someone who may be struggling
✨ Build workplaces and communities grounded in respect

Kindness is powerful. Inclusion is intentional. And change starts with each of us. 💕

Last week, our team had the incredible opportunity to attend the Career Expo at St. Thomas Aquinas High School and what an unforgettable afternoon it was!

We met so many bright, curious, and motivated students who were eager to learn about career paths, ask thoughtful questions, and explore what their futures could look like.

One of the highlights of the day was our whiteboard activity, where students shared who or what inspires them. We were blown away by the variety of answers. From parents and grandparents, to teachers, coaches, and friends… from entrepreneurs and first responders, to artists, athletes, and community leaders… the board quickly filled with powerful reminders that inspiration comes from everywhere.

Career exploration is about more than jobs, it’s about building confidence, expanding possibilities, and helping young people picture what’s possible for themselves. If we helped create even one ripple that carries forward, it was time well spent.

Thank you to the school for hosting such a well-organized and impactful event, and to every student who stopped by our booth to engage, write on our board, and share their inspiration. You inspired us right back.

We really enjoyed spending some time with students from Beaver Brae Secondary School last week and talking about the types of careers our agency offers.
We loved how enthusiastic and inquisitive the students were.
