❀ Thanks for investing in local Early Literacy.

Thanks to the Rotary Club of Uxbridge Charitable Foundation and Friends of the Library, we have a new Early Literacy Station in the Children’s Library.

Rotary Club of Uxbridge Charitable Foundation representatives Ron Hunter, Scott McDonald and Dale Hickey came by with a big-hearted $2,000 donation. Friends of the Library, represented here by the studious David Swinson, contributed a whopping $1,800.

The new child-friendly (no wifi) computer offers hundreds of pre-loaded pre-school and early elementary programs, in English and French.

We (and all the little literacy fans who come to the library), offer a big THANKS to both organizations for their generosity!
