Families gathered at the Library this weekend for Drag Queen Storytime—a joyful celebration of stories, creativity, community and inclusivity. The room was filled with imagination and the magic that happens when we come together as a community.

From the generous community members who donated books and items, to the volunteers who sorted, organized, and brought the sale to life, to everyone who stopped by to shop—you all played a part in making this event unforgettable. Together, our community raised an incredible $7,017.50.

We’re spending the summer highlighting just a few ways you can lighten the load on your wallet. First up, a free teen program that promises to be a summer highlight. Think Night at the Museum! After the Central Library is closed, teens will take part in an epic game of Nerf tag throughout the Library. Fun right?!

What a turnout for our Duckling Storytime to celebrate the end of our wildly popular "Duck, Duck, Read" reading challenge! Thank you to author Carolyn J. Morris for partnering with us for this special event. What an incredible day at the Central Library. 🎉Hundreds joined us for our first-ever book sale and it was a full house for our Storytime by the fireplace. We 💙 our community!
