Manitoba's waterways are precious — and manure runoff from intensive livestock operations can pose serious challenges for water quality and the health of our lakes.

So how do we protect our water while creating meaningful change in the hog farming industry?

That's one of the questions we'll be exploring at the launch of Fighting Back: Manitobans Against Factory Hog Barns on October 6.

Join Hog Watch Manitoba for an evening of valuable information, compelling stories, and ideas for action — with speakers discussing what Manitobans have learned from years of organizing and what it will take to protect our lakes for the future.
