The United Nations declared 2026 as the International Year of Rangelands and Pastoralists. Rangelands are home to unique biodiversity and pastoral communities whose livelihoods depend on them.

And because are touched by agriculture, today we want to highlight a project that brought together shepherds and community to recover depleted pasturelands, improve livelihoods for the community and renew the habitat of Sharpe's Longclaw, a bird endemic to the area.
