An seinem 100. Todestag gedenken wir Antoni Gaudí.
Spätestens mit dem ersten Barcelona-Urlaub ist der Name Antoni Gaudí ein Begriff. Der katalanische Architekt prägt dieses spanische Stadtbild wie kein anderer. Die Sagrada Família ist sein wohl berühmtestes Bauwerk. Doch auch der Park Güell und das Casa Batlló sind in Barcelona architektonische Highlights Gaudís, die bis heute Aufmerksamkeit erregen.
Gaudí verstarb am 10. Juni 1926 nach einem Zusammenstoß mit einer Straßenbahn. In der bis heute unvollendeten Sagrada Família fand er seine letzte Ruhestätte. Wir möchten ihm heute Gedenken und die Erinnerung an seine herausragende Kreativität und seinen originellen Stilelementen hervorheben.

On the 100th anniversary of his death, we commemorate Antoni Gaudí.
By the time you take your first vacation to Barcelona, the name Antoni Gaudí is sure to be familiar. The Catalan architect has shaped the cityscape of Barcelona like no other. The Sagrada Família is arguably his most famous building. But Park Güell and Casa Batlló are also architectural highlights of Gaudí’s work in Barcelona that continue to attract attention to this day.
Gaudí died on June 10, 1926, after being struck by a tram. He found his final resting place in his Sagrada Família, which remains unfinished to this day. Today, we would like to honor his memory and highlight his outstanding creativity and original stylistic elements.
