The smell of fresh-baked treats filled USO Baumholder once again for Whisked Wednesday! 🧁🍪🍋

Our amazing kitchen volunteers baked up a delicious assortment of homemade goodies, including cinnamon coffee cake muffins, focaccia, lemon raspberry cupcakes, and chocolate chip snickerdoodle cookies. Everything was absolutely delicious, and our service members truly appreciated the fresh, homemade treats.

A huge thank you to our volunteers for sharing their time, talents, and heart to make these special treats for our military community.

USO Baumholder took advantage of the beautiful weather this week by hosting Story Time and Craft outdoors for our little ones! 🌱☀️

Children learned all about roots, how plants grow, and even had the opportunity to pot their own plant to take home and care for. It was a fun, hands-on experience that combined learning, creativity, and time spent in the fresh air.

Ready to start volunteering with USO? 💙

Once you’ve created your profile in our Volunteer Management System, the final step before you can begin volunteering with USO is to attend an in-person orientation at a USO Center.

This orientation is a great way to learn more about our mission, meet the team, and get set up for a meaningful volunteer experience.

Feel free to bring a friend, coworker, or fellow servicemember along with you!

Jennifer started volunteering with us in April and has already become such a familiar and welcoming face around the center. Whether she’s greeting guests at the front desk, cooking and baking for Whisked Wednesday, helping with special events, or stepping into any role we ask of her, she is always ready to support our service members and families with a smile.

Preschoolers are invited to Story Time & Craft at USO Baumholder! Each month features a new story along with a fun activity or craft designed to spark creativity and smiles.

What a beautiful and heartwarming *Special Delivery* at USO Baumholder! 💛✨

Our expecting and new moms gathered for a joyful time filled with connection, laughter, delicious food, and meaningful moments together. From learning about programs and resources available for military families to enjoying a little pampering and self-care before welcoming their newest little ones, every moment was special. Some moms shared the excitement of preparing for baby, while others enjoyed sweet cuddles with their babies already in their arms. 🍼💕

Most importantly, everyone left with full hearts, new friendships, and beautiful memories. We are so grateful to be part of these magical moments and to support our amazing military families through every stage of their journey. Thank you to everyone who joined us and helped make this event so special! 💙

Please join us in congratulating our USO Baumholder and Area Volunteer of the Quarter, Keila Benitez! 🎉👏

Keila’s dedication, leadership, and heart for service continue to make a lasting impact on the Baumholder military community. From leading the monthly Crochet Corner program and mentoring fellow volunteers to supporting Purple Up Day events and major community programs, she consistently goes above and beyond to support the USO mission.

Balancing life as a full-time employee, military spouse, and mother of five, Keila still finds time to inspire others, strengthen community connections, and serve with excellence every step of the way.
