And that's damn right mod. 🏴‍☠️

🏴‍☠️ A new Assassin’s Creed Black Flag: Resynced mod lets you sail with a message.

A fan-made mod replaces the Jackdaw’s default sails with black, blue, and black-and-gold designs inspired by the “No Disc, No Buy” movement.

Each sail features the slogan:

“If Buying Isn’t Owning, Pirating Isn’t Stealing.”

The mod is a community-created customization and reflects the ongoing discussion around digital ownership and game preservation.

Whether you agree with the message or not, it’s certainly one of the more unique Jackdaw sail mods released so far.

We went the Global Dialogue on AI Governance:

The first session of the United Nations Global Dialogue on AI Governance took place in Geneva on 6 and 7 July 2026. PPI UNOG representatives Carlos Polo of PPCH and Alexander Kohler of PPDE attended the event, joining many global heavyweights to help decide the future of artificial intelligence.

Assume someone is reading your private messages:

The old Dutch ‘briefgeheim’ (confidential letter) meant the postal service (and by analogy social media platforms) could not open and read letters. But there were conditions. Postal cards like those that you sent from your holiday location were plain, and openly readable. Those were exempt.

As usual we discussed our continued UN engagement, support for Pirate activities, publication of policy blogs, Think Twice 5, PPI’s finances, membership fees, and the need to keep the organisation accessible to both established and emerging Pirate parties.
