🧐Does your AFVEC account state that you need Initial TA Counseling to gain access to your tuition assistance funds?

👩‍🏫We hold Initial TA Counseling briefings twice a week: Tuesdays at 0900 and Thursdays at 1400.

✅RSVP through your Air Force Virtual Education Center (AFVEC) account under the Ramstein Events. The briefing is required for all AF members who have never used TA before.

💡If your account says you need REFRESHER training, please head to our front desk (4th floor, Rm 421) and get that completed in-person. It will take 5-10 minutes and is available during customer service hours. No need for the long briefing! Customer Service open 0900-1500 M-F except W when we are open 0900-1330.

🔄CLEP and DSST exam credits transfer to 2,900+ and 1,900+ colleges and universities in America (respectively). If you want to know what exams transfer into your civilian degree program, you'll need to chat with your college advisor.

💲Make sure you submit your FAFSA application. Not only could you be eligible for a Pell Grant, but your application is how colleges and universities determine the financial aid package you could receive from them!

✅Even if you aren't eligible for a Pell Grant this year, submit the application every year. At least until your bachelor's degree is complete.

⌛️The 2025-2026 school year application is open through 30 June 2026.
