ICYMI, More than 80 years after D-Day, the bonds forged in Normandy continue to endure.

During the 82nd anniversary commemoration of D-Day, U.S. and Allied service members were welcomed into the home of a local French family in Sainte-Mère-Église, France. They shared stories of courage, and sacrifice as they ate together.

These family dinners are more than a tradition—they are a living reminder that the friendships built in 1944 continue to strengthen our Alliance today. As we honor those who fought for freedom, we also celebrate the enduring connections between our nations and the people who keep their legacy alive.
Now 82 years later, the people of Normandy welcome American service members as returning family, offering hospitality that is truly remarkable and unmatched anywhere else.

In its 55th iteration, BALTOPS is the premier maritime exercise in the Baltic Sea region. It enhances our ability to operate together as a cohesive team in a dynamic environment. Bomber integration signals our capability to project combat-credible airpower forward, ensuring our joint and combined forces remain ready to deter potential adversaries and assure our NATO publics.
