The American Forces Radio and Television Service (AFRTS) is the Defense Department agency that provides radio and television services to the U.S. They work with the entertainment industry and bring you services ranging from “The Simpsons” to National Public Radio and all points in between. The latest music, news and information services are sent to AFN Europe and are available on a number of AM and FM stations broadcasting throughout the U.S. European Command, on-base cable systems, and via satellite decoders.

When nations unite in medicine, every service member wins.

U.S. military medical professionals joined partners from Europe, Africa, and the United States for the 2026 European African Military Nursing Exchange in Garmisch-Partenkirchen, Germany, May 19 to 22. The exchange brought together nurses and medical leaders committed to strengthening teamwork, sharing expertise, and advancing military healthcare across continents.

This year’s theme, , through , guided discussions on evidence-based practice, resilience, forensic nursing, and trauma-focused training. Participants explored strategic, operational, and clinical approaches that elevate readiness and improve care for service members worldwide.

U.S. Army Soldiers and multinational partners push their limits during Exercise Combined Resolve 26‑07 at the Joint Multinational Readiness Center in Hohenfels, Germany. From April 9 to May 10, 2026, more than 3,600 participants from seven nations train side by side to strengthen combined arms interoperability and build readiness for multi domain operations.

The 3rd Infantry Division and 1st Cavalry Division lead the rotation while forward deployed to Poland as the task force headquarters for Army Regional Aligned Forces. JMRC rugged terrain and scenario driven scenarios sharpen warfighting skills and reinforce cooperation with Allies and partners.

The Norwegian Foot March (known as Marsjmerket) is an 18.6-mile (30 km) endurance ruck march.
