Our focus: searching, exploring and identifying technologies that can help transform industry and create value for society.
At Almar Water Solutions, we believe innovation knows no borders. That is why we dedicate significant effort to exploring new developments, assessing emerging technologies and identifying solutions that can help make industrial projects more efficient, competitive and sustainable.
This search recently took us to China, where we joined the Green Hydrogen Trade Mission organised by , providing a valuable opportunity to gain first-hand insight into some of the technologies being developed by Chinese companies across the hydrogen value chain.
During the mission, we visited leading technology and manufacturing centres and met companies working on different parts of the hydrogen ecosystem, including:
🔹 GUOFUHEE, with integrated solutions for hydrogen production, storage and supply.
🔹 Bright-H (Shanghai Electric), developing alkaline electrolysis technologies.
🔹 HuaDe Hydrogen, with solutions for hydrogen production and energy applications.
🔹 Shanghai Hydrogen Propulsion Technology (SAIC), specialising in fuel cell technologies.
Several of these technologies have a direct connection with projects we are currently exploring and developing, particularly in renewable hydrogen production, refuelling infrastructure for heavy-duty mobility and industrial decarbonisation.
But technology scouting is not simply about discovering what is new. It is about understanding technology maturity, performance, costs and real integration potential — and determining which solutions can ultimately become viable projects.
Our thanks to the Economic and Commercial Offices of Spain in Beijing, Shanghai and Guangzhou, and to ICEX, for their excellent support throughout the mission, for bringing us closer to China’s technology ecosystem and for facilitating conversations that can open new opportunities for collaboration between Spanish and Chinese companies.
