A quick heads-up 👋

All OnFife venues will be closed on Monday 20 July for the Fife public holiday.

That includes our libraries, museums, galleries and theatres across Fife, so if you're planning a visit, please keep this in mind.

The Summer Holidays are here which means it's the perfect to sign up for the Fife Reading Challenge!

This year you set your own six reading goals which can be anything from reading a chapter a night to sharing a picture book with a friend!

AND everyone that takes part in the challenge will be entered into our amazing prize draw where you could win some fantastic prizes.

Not only that but this year the whole family can get involved as young people and adults have their own challenge this year!

We can't wait to welcome you into our libraries and have an amazing summer of reading in Fife

Today's the day! The sun is shining and we are so excited because today marks the launch of our first ever Fife Reading Challenge.

From today until the 31st of August people of all ages in Fife can visit their local library and sign up for one of our reading challenges!

All you need is a library card- if you don't already have one you can sign up in branch or by using our online form https://www.onfife.com/libraries-archives/join-library/

We can't wait to welcome you into our libraries and start off an amazing summer of reading in Fife!

Please be aware that Waid Community Campus will be closed to the public for 6 weeks from Wednesday 1 July to Tuesday 18th August for necessary alterations to the building. The school will remain open to pupils until the end of term.

Community Use, Active Schools and Elite football activities will go ahead as planned but the library, cafe and the customer service desk will be affected.

The mobile library will be on site in front of the Waid building on Wednesdays 8 July, 22 July and 5 August from 10.30am to 3.30pm and on Mondays 13 July, 27 July and 10 August from 10.30am to 12.30pm.

Fife Council Customer Services staff will be available in the mobile library on the above dates. Batteries for hearing aids can be collected there too.

The community cafe will be closed for the full six weeks. See less
