Vale Family Compass The Vale Family Compass provides a range of information, advice, support and protection for children, young people, their parents, carers and families.

It aims to provide you with the right information and support at the right time. We now have a single front door to access the following services:
• Family Information Service,
• Early Help services including Families First Advice Line, Team Around the Family, Vale Parenting Service
• Intake Children’s Services. This is called the Vale Family Compass. The Vale Family Compass provides a range of information, advice, support and protection for children, young people, their parents, carers and families in the Vale of Glamorgan. It aims to provide you with the right information and support at the right time from your first point of contact. Mae gennym bellach un drws ffrynt i gael mynediad i’r gwasanaethau canlynol:

🤟 International Day of Sign Languages | 23 September

Today we celebrate the rich linguistic and cultural diversity of deaf communities around the world. Sign languages are natural languages that play a vital role in communication, inclusion and participation.

In the Vale of Glamorgan, specialist Hearing Impairment Outreach Services support children and young people with hearing loss, helping them to thrive in education and ensuring their communication, social, emotional and learning needs are met.

The Index celebrates diversity and welcomes registrations from children and young people aged 0-18 living in the Vale of Glamorgan with any disability or additional need. Registered families receive regular information about local support, activities, events and services designed to help them make informed choices and access opportunities in their community.
