Today as many attend the Balmoral Show we are mindful of the real-world impact of sepsis. A recent BBC report https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/articles/cgjp2w03v10o shares the lived experience of farmer Marshall Wylie, highlighting the gravity of this condition and the importance of timely intervention.
We recently published a Case Digest on Sepsis and it highlights the findings from our independent investigations into the prevention or treatment of sepsis within healthcare settings. It looks at the recommendations we've made to try and stop these failings re-occurring. We also encourage people to speak up if they have concerns and ask
"Could this be sepsis?"
