We have air conditioning and a water cooler at Cobham Library, so if you are out and about and need to cool down, please feel free to come inside!

Following the Red Heat alert put in place for Friday 26 June, the guidance is to stay out of the sun. However, if you do need to go out, make sure you carry water, apply sunscreen, wear a hat and loose light-coloured clothes.

Unfortunately, Cobham Library will be opening late today due to staff shortage.

Digital Buddy Bookings may be affected due to the closure. Books can be returned via the book drop while the library is closed.

Unfortunately, Cobham Library will be closed on Saturday the 23rd of May due to staff shortage. Our Story Time will be cancelled as a result.

We will reopen on Tuesday 26th of May. Until then books can be returned via the drop box. Your can also visit nearby libraries such as Esher Library and Horsley Library for assistance.

Sincere apologies for the inconvenience and thank you for your understanding.

It's ! Cobham Library is hosting the first of two 'Local Libraries, Local Care' drop-in sessions sessions in the downstairs lobby today until 2pm, so do feel free to pop by for a chat!

And if you'd like to read more about fostering, we have a list on wonderful suggested books you can order through our service - including the fantastic "Foster Care for Florence and Bear" by local author Ellie Pulze, who did a lovely Special Story Time at Cobham Library last year!

Due to staffing issues, Cobham Library will close for lunch on Saturday the 2nd of May between the hours of 1pm and 2pm.

During this time the library will be inaccessible. However, books can be returned via the book drop, and will be processed by the team upon reopening at 2pm.
