A COFFEE TO END THE NIGHT

Late yesterday evening the Community Rescue Service volunteers were called out by the Police Service of Northern Ireland to assist with the search for a high-risk vulnerable missing person in the Rostrevor area.

The weather was not on our side with high winds and temperatures dropping time was of the essence.

A search plan was quickly formulated in conjunction with police and our volunteers were quickly on the ground searching through dense wooded areas.

We are pleased to say the missing person was located safe and well in the small hours of this morning.

Time for a quick coffee stop on route back to station while watching the sun rise before cleaning kit and vehicles awaiting the next tasking.
