πŸ“’ Public Notice – Funeral Procession

Today 22nd June , there will be a large funeral procession taking place today from St Mary’s Church, along Horton Road, to Ditton Road Cemetery.

From around 1:00pm, expect a large number of vehicles in the village.

Between 2:00pm and 3:00pm, a horse-drawn hearse, with mourners, funeral directors, and vehicles, will leave the church along Horton Road towards Ditton Road Cemetery. This will be slow moving.

If possible, please consider alternative routes during these time to avoid delays.

We thank you for your patience and understanding.

Don’t Mess with Datchet!

DPC and RBWM working together have successfully issued a Β£2000 fixed penalty fine to the West Drayton company who fly-tipped this commercial waste in Datchet recently - much to residents upset and outrage. So if you or anyone you know is thinking of trashing Datchet - think again!
We are proactively watching and prosecuting offenders - residential and commercial.
Thanks to all of our residents for helping with time and dates - we need and value your continued support.

Cllr Ian Thompson (Lead Flood Plan) calls for collective thinking and action to protect Datchet and surrounding areas from the devasting effects witnessed in the 2014 floods. Uniting RBWM Borough, Environment Agency and Land owners to create The Flood Defence Plan.

As we face another weekend of torrential downpours, it’s a good time to introduce the submersible pump for serious water protection.

Ideally, this much larger flood equipment kit should be professionally installed for best results and is not recommended as a piece of DIY.
