Help one of our very own, Paul Bowers (Shuggy) on His Inspiring Journey to Support Veterans!

Shuggy has been on an incredible journey of transformation. Two years ago, he underwent bariatric surgery, shedding over 16 stone, and now, at 65, feeling fitter, stronger, and more determined than ever, he is taking on a inspiring fundraising effort to help support fellow veterans.

This September, Shuggy will be joining his fellow veterans from the 17/21 Lancers to trek the stunning Dolomites, from Italy to Austria. Walking 20km a day over six days, and whilst h may walk with a slight limp and have faced more than his own share of setbacks, Shuggy is determined to raise as much as he can for the Troops NAAFI Veterans’ Breakfast Club.

Shuggy said "I’ve dedicated my life to service—18 years in the Army, overcoming injuries, and battling PTSD. Today, I’m putting all my efforts into supporting the veterans' community, helping fund trips, welfare activities, and even a Veterans Café that brings us together."
