LAYC would love to highlight that 's new Food, Mood & You programme is underway and off to a brilliant start!

Led by youth workers Demi and Callum, the programme is all about hands-on learning, building confidence in the kitchen and exploring how food connects with how we feel, with time to cook, chat and enjoy food together.

The 10th of October, 2026 is World Mental Health Day.

Last year, LAYC's training programme included various courses related to spreading Mental Health Awareness. These included Mental Health Matters and Trauma Skilled Practice - Level 2.

If you missed out on the courses last year, don't worry! We will be running more sessions later in our training programme.

October 2026 is ADHD Awareness Month.

During October of last year, EDAN Hub facilitated the training: 'Taking a Whole Family Approach to Disability and Neurodiversity' as part of LAYC’s training programme.
