🌍 Help Us Make a Lasting Change 🍽️
For a long time, Homeless Project Scotland has relied on disposable plates, bowls, and cutlery to serve thousands of hot meals. While this has allowed us to meet the immediate needs of those we support, we now want to take a more sustainable approach.

We are raising funds to purchase washable plates, bowls, and cutlery for our soup kitchen. This will:
🌱 Reduce waste and help protect the environment.
🍽️ Give the people we support the dignity of eating from proper tableware.💙 Allow us to provide a better quality service while reducing the long-term cost of disposable items.

At 79 years old, no one should be left sleeping on the streets.

Another night, and once again, we are having to put out sleep pods because people have been left with no other option.

No one should be forced to sleep on the streets of Glasgow. These are real people, each with their own story, who deserve safety, dignity and somewhere warm to sleep.

Sebastian shares the reality of what our volunteers are facing every night. We cannot continue like this.

It’s time for those with the responsibility to act. Homelessness should never be managed with tents and sleep pods when emergency accommodation should be available.

Tonight, 53 people have turned to Homeless Project Scotland for help.

🏠 33 people are safely inside our night shelter.
⛺ 20 people are still outside.

No one should be left to sleep on the streets of Glasgow while emergency accommodation is meant to exist.

Our Chairman’s message to Glasgow City Council is clear: accommodate people now. If vulnerable people continue to be left sleeping outside, Homeless Project Scotland will have no option but to return to Judicial Review (JR) proceedings to ensure the legal duties owed to people experiencing homelessness are upheld.

This cannot become the new normal.
